Ben Knebel
I'm Ben, dog trainer, mentor and founder of Molly's Way – and it all started with a bulldog called Molly. She came into my life as a rescue dog – a stubborn, lovable character with big challenges in her baggage. In doing so, she opened the door to a new passion for me: animal welfare and working with second-hand dogs.
Living with her also made me aware of the serious consequences that breeding for extreme traits has for the dogs affected. Since then I've experienced every day what it means to stand by a dog who has to master a life full of hurdles because of breeding-related physical and health limitations. Molly didn't just open my eyes, she also shaped my mission: as a dog trainer I'm committed to raising awareness of the effects of extreme breeding. I want to help reduce the demand for such dogs and encourage people to make responsible decisions.
Through my practical training, my work with dogs at the shelter and my daily experience with Molly, I know that every human-dog team needs individual support. That's exactly what I offer: flexible, empathetic mentoring that focuses on a stable, trusting relationship – instead of rigid training methods or mere commands.
Whether your dog has just moved in or you're already a well-rehearsed team: I'll accompany you with heart, humour and a clear eye for what matters – on your way to a harmonious and respectful life together.
